A CHRONOLOGY OF MEDICAL ATTENTION TO DYLAN AFTER THE ALLEGATION OF SEXUAL ABUSE OR WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH YOUR DAUGHTER?

On August 4, 1992, it is alleged that Woody Allen sexually abused his daughter, Dylan Farrow, making touching consistent with the introduction of a finger in the girl's vagina. The original testimony of Dylan, as it is collected by Mia Farrow in his memoirs is unequivocal.

As can be seen, the original narrative clearly states that the finger was inserted into Dylan's vagina and that in doing so it caused her harm. This is a fact of the story about which there had never been any doubt, until Dylan Farrow made her television interview and said he had not introduced a finger in her vagina, but had touched her lips and her vulva with the finger. In any case, in 1992 there was no doubt as to what the alleged abuses had been. Nor was there any doubt, according to the story of Mia Farrow, that the girl was still complaining of pain in the vagina several days after the alleged abuse. Kristi Groteke's book, Mia Farrow's memoir and the court ruling allow us to establish a chronology of the medical attention and explorations the girl received from the moment of the allegation of abuse:

- On August 5, go to the pediatrician. Medical care received: none; exploration: none.

- On August 6, go to the pediatrician. Medical care received: none; medical examination: none.

- On August 9, it goes to a purely external medical examination. There is no medical attention

- On an unspecified date, "few days" after August 9, the child protection service of New York gives an appointment to Dylan for the first internal exploration to have been submitted after the alleged abuses. It seems reasonable to think that it was not before August 12, and possibly even later.

There are some issues that arise immediately. Some related to the procedure, for example, did the state of Connecticut not order the physical examination of the girl? but others related to the behavior of Mia Farrow and the pediatrician himself.

It does not seem reasonable, it does not seem possible, that a mother with the resources of Mia Farrow does not immediately go to the best specialist to do a complete gynecological physical examination to her daughter if she thinks that she has been sexually abused with vaginal penetration and refers to persistent pain. In fact, not to proceed to an internal inspection referring only pain in the vagina, or only referring to sexual abuse with vaginal penetration is something that is already quite extraordinary and that seriously challenges the credibility of the story. It can not be forgotten that Mia Farrow not only had her own financial resources to immediately get the best medical care in the best center in Connecticut, New York or where she decided to go, but at that time she was not working in the filming of any movie or had no work project that would prevent her from devoting her time to taking care of her daughter. However, the two visits to the pediatrician only proceeded to do what was necessary for Dylan to narrate -or not to do so- the alleged abuses and the visit ended as soon as one thing or the other happened. Neither Mia Farrow nor Dylan said anything to the pediatrician of the pain in the vagina and, consequently, no revision was made or commissioned at that time.

The first exploration of Dylan's vagina after allegations of abuse would have been made at that appointment provided by the child protection service (it was not carried out because Dylan refused)

WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH YOUR DAUGHTER?

So far I have basically related the facts. I have included in this post pictures of Mia Farrow's book and Kristi Groteke's book so that anyone can check the accuracy of what I said. What do you think, reader? You have financial resources that you can consider unlimited for this purpose and your daughter is sexually assaulted in the way that Dylan Farrow allegedly reported: with vaginal penetration and persistent pain in the vagina. How long it takes to get her to receive complete medical care and to be treated a complete gynecologist medical review?
